Study - Helmholtz

A first study is being conducted with the Helmholtz Institute HIMAG, which includes patients from four German university hospitals multicentrically. The evaluation is still ongoing.

About the planned cooperation between the Helmholtz Institute and Lipocyte BioMed GmbH, the head of the institute writes as follows:

(Note: At the date of writing, the company was still operating under the name Lipozyte Marker GmbH).

This study shows a corroboration and expansion of the results of the UKE study. In particular, the extremely high “accuracy” of the results (= product of sensitivity and specificity) is confirmed (see also the explanations in the UKE study).

The results will be published.
